Cat's play
We had cats in our house when I was a boy but I don't recall them eating flies and the like. Our current cat does though. She likes playing with them, batting them from side to side and then eating them. Today there was big spider in the house so I set the cat on to it. She played with it for 10 to 15 minutes and then gupled it down. Most unpleasant. I was also told to not play with my food when I was young but as I had no real friends what was a small boy to do?

isn't there a song about this ? she swallowed the dog to catch the cat that swallowed the spider etc.
Posted by: funkypancake at September 19, 2004 08:10 PMMy cat does the same thing, only it tends to make him sick so I try and discourage him as much as possible. Careful that little cat doesn't catch worms or any nasty infections from the flies!
