Using Firefox is like...

Using Firefox is like having an American Express Card in the UK. You go to use it, you want to use it, you know it can't hurt and probably makes sense to use it....but all too often it gets rejected. Sometimes it gets rejected nice and clearly e.g. We don't support your setup, other times it just stops sites from working. I am beginning to despair.

Your mileage may vary of course.

I couldn't disagree more :)

What are these sites, and have you tried the user agent switcher (which takes care of just dumb browser testing)?

I can't remember the last time I had a problem, and I just use IE for Windows Update (where you don't have a choice)

Tried Firefox for a while, but a few viewing glitches persuaded me back to Slimbrowser. I blame Bill Gates myself, lol

www.mycokemusic.com (and possibly any of the sites that use od2.com back end) is the latest. In my experience, the ones that are testing for browsers acceptable to them are always doing it for good reason. Thus agent switcher doesn't help.

MMDV (my mileage does vary!)

I rarely come across a site FF can't/won't handle - even ordinarily fussy stuff like bank portals and the like. As you mention, it very much depends on your surfing habits. Off to look at Slimbrowser :-)
